HubSpot Sales Hub: features, tiers and who it is for

Sales Hub is HubSpot's tool for sales teams. It is built on the same CRM as the rest of HubSpot and brings pipeline, communication, follow up and reporting together in one place. Here we go through what is included, how the tiers differ and when Sales Hub is the right choice.
In short: HubSpot Sales Hub is a sales tool on top of HubSpot's CRM with pipeline, email tracking, meeting scheduling, sequences, quotes, forecasts and AI agents for prospecting and deals. Starter suits small teams, Professional is where automation and reporting take off, and Enterprise suits larger organizations with several teams.
New pricing model: Since October 2026, Sales Hub is no longer sold as a separate product to new customers in Europe. The sales features are included in the edition you choose (Starter, Professional or Enterprise), and you pay per seat. Existing customers keep their Sales Hub subscriptions for now. The tiers below correspond to the editions in the new model.
What is included in HubSpot Sales Hub?
- Pipeline and deals with custom stages, probabilities and required fields.
- Email and calendar connected to the CRM, with tracking of opens and clicks.
- Meeting scheduling where the customer picks a time in the rep's calendar.
- Sequences for automated follow up that stops when the contact replies.
- Calling directly from HubSpot with recording and transcription.
- Quotes and a product library.
- Forecasts and sales reports.
- AI agents, including Prospecting Agent and Deal Progression, that help with research, follow up and next steps.
How do the tiers differ?
Starter gives you the basics: pipelines, templates, meeting scheduling, simple automation and no HubSpot branding. Good for small teams getting started.
Professional adds full scale sequences, workflows, lead scoring, custom reports, forecasting, playbooks and more AI features. This is where most B2B companies land.
Enterprise adds advanced permissions, custom objects, more teams and business units and more advanced forecasting. For larger sales organizations.

How successful sales teams use Sales Hub
- A pipeline that reflects reality. Stages based on what the customer has done, not what the rep hopes. Read more about the sales pipeline in HubSpot.
- All communication logged automatically because inbox and calendar are connected.
- Follow up that is not forgotten thanks to sequences and tasks.
- Sales meetings run from HubSpot. The pipeline and forecast are reviewed directly in the tool.
- Marketing and sales share data, so the rep sees which pages and emails a lead has interacted with.
When is Sales Hub the right choice?
Sales Hub is particularly well suited for B2B companies with consultative selling, where the relationship and follow up make the difference, and where marketing and sales need to work in the same data. If you only need a simple pipeline, a simpler solution may be enough, see our comparison HubSpot vs Pipedrive.

What is HubSpot Sales Hub?
Sales Hub is HubSpot's software for sales teams. It is built on HubSpot's CRM and includes pipeline, email tracking, meeting scheduling, sequences, quotes, forecasts and AI agents.
What is the difference between Sales Hub Starter and Professional?
Starter gives basic sales tools and simple automation. Professional adds full scale sequences, workflows, lead scoring, custom reports, forecasts and more AI features.
Do you have to buy both sales and marketing?
No. For new customers, the sales and marketing features are included in the same edition, so you choose a level and a number of seats instead of separate hubs. On older subscriptions, Sales Hub works on its own and Marketing Hub can be added later, since both are built on the same CRM.
Does Sales Hub work with Outlook?
Yes. HubSpot can be connected to both Outlook and Gmail, so emails and meetings are logged automatically and the rep can use HubSpot directly from the inbox.
How many users need a paid seat?
Everyone who will use sales features such as sequences, forecasts and calling needs a paid seat. Those who only need to view data can often manage with free view access.
