"How much does HubSpot cost?" is one of the most common questions we get. Unfortunately, the answer is not a single number. The price depends on which hubs you need, which tier, how many users and how many contacts you want to market to. Here we explain how the pricing model works and what you should actually budget for.
In short: HubSpot has four tiers: Free, Starter, Professional and Enterprise. Free costs nothing, Starter starts at around 20 USD per user per month, Sales Hub and Service Hub Professional are around 90 to 100 USD per user per month, and Marketing Hub Professional starts at around 890 USD per month. Add marketing contacts, credits and implementation when you calculate.
HubSpot is divided into several hubs that can be bought separately or together:
All hubs are built on the same CRM, Smart CRM, which is free at its core. Each hub is available in Free, Starter, Professional and Enterprise. You can also buy several hubs as a bundle, Customer Platform, which is usually cheaper than buying them one by one.
For a few years now you pay per user, so called seats, for Sales Hub and Service Hub. Marketing Hub is instead priced mainly by the number of marketing contacts, with a number of seats included.
Here are approximate list prices in USD per month, according to HubSpot and independent summaries from summer 2026. Prices change and promotional pricing is common, so always check HubSpot's pricing page for current prices.
| Tier | Approximate price | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Free | 0 USD, up to 2 users | Trying out the CRM and gathering contacts |
| Starter | From around 20 USD per user | Small teams that want to remove limits and the HubSpot logo |
| Sales or Service Hub Professional | Around 90 to 100 USD per user | Growing sales teams that need automation and reporting |
| Marketing Hub Professional | From around 890 USD, 3 seats and 2,000 marketing contacts | B2B companies that want to truly automate their marketing |
| Sales or Service Hub Enterprise | Around 150 USD per user | Larger organizations with several teams and advanced needs |
| Marketing Hub Enterprise | From around 3,600 USD, 5 seats and 10,000 marketing contacts | Companies with several brands, markets or business units |
Starter is often included as a bundle with all hubs, including 1,000 marketing contacts and a number of HubSpot credits for AI features.
The license price is rarely the whole cost. These usually come as a surprise:
A simple rule of thumb: calculate the license cost for twelve months and then add implementation, training and integrations. For a B2B company with a smaller sales team starting on Sales Hub Professional and Marketing Hub Professional, licenses are often a five to six figure amount in euros per year, before implementation.
That sounds like a lot, but compare it with what you spend on separate tools for email, forms, meetings, sales follow up and reporting today. Many companies save by bringing everything into one platform. Even more important is the time sales and marketing save on manual work.
HubSpot's CRM is available in a free version for up to two users, with basic features for contacts, deals, email and forms. For automation, advanced reports and more users, you need a paid tier.
It depends on hubs and tier. Starter starts at around 20 USD per user per month, Sales Hub Professional is around 90 to 100 USD per user and Marketing Hub Professional starts at around 890 USD per month. Always check current prices on HubSpot's pricing page.
HubSpot bills in a selection of currencies. Which currency you can choose depends on market and contract, so check with HubSpot or your partner before you sign.
A marketing contact is a contact you can send marketing emails to or target with ads. You only pay for marketing contacts, so contacts that exist in the CRM only for sales or support can be set as non marketing contacts.
On the higher tiers HubSpot can cost more per user than simpler sales tools, but it often replaces several separate systems. Compare the total cost, including tools you can cancel and time you save, rather than just the license price.
HubSpot often has promotional pricing for new customers, especially on Starter, and lower prices with annual billing. There are also programs for startups. Ask a HubSpot partner what applies right now.
HubSpot can cost anything from nothing to significant amounts per year. What matters is choosing the tier that matches where you are today, keeping track of contacts, seats and credits, and budgeting for implementation from the start. Set up correctly, the platform often pays for itself through time saved and deals not lost.
